Hi, stress can cause sudden and sometimes severe hair loss. Nearly all
rescue ferrets are stressed in some way when we get them. I had a rescue
recently lose all the hair down his back after a bad fight with another
male. Now two months later he is big fluffy ball. Is she in season now
as prolonged oestrus can also cause hair loss? I would avoid
supplements unless you know they are used regularly for treating
specific problems in ferrets. Chris.
