Thanks Caity for your precious comments again.
Here's my update on Cookie ...

We went to the vet last Friday, and unfortunately, I was right, he has Adrenal disease again ... :(

The vet said she can do the surgery if we want but ... she doesn't think it's a good idea. She said most of the time, when the right side is affected, she's not able to remove the tumor. Sometimes, she can remove only a small part of it.

For now, she thinks that Lupron is the best treatment as Cookie has already had surgery 2 months ago for 2 mast cell tumors. She believes that if we put Cookie through all this stress for nothing ... maybe his tumor will start to get bigger.

I told her that there's chances that the tumor isn't very big at this point (Cookie first symptom: marking behavior one month ago, hair loss on his rump and tail: 9 days ago) but she said that even if it's small we don't know where it is. Even if we do an ultrasound, maybe we won't be able to see it.

Cookie got his first shot of Lupron (100 mcg 1 month depot). We'll see what happen ... and even if it works or not, maybe he'll have surgery.

Thanks for your caring and for your time
Linda and Cookie XXX

P.S. Even if I had a great vet ... I really fear this surgery. I know there's a lot of risks even with the best technologies, and I know that he can also die after. This is really a big surgery and ... Cookie is my first and only ferret.
