I agree with Lynne, I had my first baby, gotten in the mid 80's when no one
knew much about them, accidentally stepped on while hiding under a blanket
on the floor at the foot of the bed, she squealed and ran behind the dresser
I finally coaxed her out and put her up onto the bed with me so I could go
to bed, and when I woke up several hours later, she had passed. She didn't
seem to be hurt when I felt around her after I coaxed her out, but must have
been internal bleeding.
