Ellie is a Marshall ferret too, so I guess it's possible. I did mention the possibility to my vet, that maybe it wasn't entirely removed. She seemed to think that we would have seen some evidence before now. She is 3 1/2 years old. Would the treatment be any different if it were an anal gland abcess, as opposed to an abcess caused by a wound?
