Raw egg whites have several problems, but I think that cooked ones arte fine (but check me on that in the FHL Archives at http://fhl.sonic-weasel.org ). Cooked egg yolks are certainly a good source of many nutrients for ferrets. When we had one on a very special diet many years ago we were fortunate enough that Dr. Tom Willard of Performance Foods (Totally Ferret) who has his doctorate in veterinary nutrition helped us. Egg yolk was an important part of that ferret's diet.

Notice that the eggs will change the proportions of nutrients in that gravy so if it all that you are feeding a chance may signal a health consideration, but if it is part of what you give it might not.

If there is a lot of egg yolk expect sulphurous yellow stools.
