the original recipe for chicken gravy calls for half
an hour of cooking. I had been doing, and i don't
know where I got the idea, an hour of cooking, then
grinding, then mixing everything in, then cooking
again for half and hour, then blending. this seems
excessive in light of the original recipe but is it
bad for the cg - is too much cooking cooking out the
nutrients? tonight, i'm trying ground chicken (bones,
etc), boil for half an hour, mix in rest of stuff,
simmer for half an hour, let cool, blend and package.
does this sound safe enough?
