Shelby was doing just fine less than two weeks ago,running around,eating great,
you name it. Wham, she just started acting like she'd come down with a bug or
something. I've had them get colds and flu before but they usually come around
quicker.She had a runny nose with sneezing and watery eyes also. She developed
diarhea and her appetite went down. That's what puzzles me. I'm wondering if she
has a bit of a bug along with the heart troubles. Our vet listened to her heart and
did xrays. He felt it's skipping like one out of every ten beats as well as having a
murmur. Her little behind was raw from the diarhea. She' s been isolated from the
others in a nice cushy spot and was showing signs of improvement before the
enelapril. I'm waiting to see if there's a difference once it is out of her system. I just
really don't like what it seems to be doing to her. She's very weak from being sick,
not to mention the inactivity. She's eating at least 30 cc's of recipe every 3 to 4 hrs.
This is
just not Shelby. The diarhea has stopped at least. I'm just wondering about anyone
else's experience with these medications for the heart and how long it might give
them, and also the effects of the supplements which she is getting right now, Vit C,
E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and CoQ10.
