Little Bit was two years old in September. I think she was maybe eight months old when she got sick. I don't know if she in fact had DIM, but most if not all of the symptoms match. I am very afraid of her relapsing. I was thinking that maybe the early intervention of penicillin helped stave off other infections. If I remember right, after she had a course of the anti-viral stuff that is when she seemed to perk up. Other than that, I kept her warm, fed and watered her every few hours, and made sure she got LOTS of cuddles. I had a special going...if you were my customer waiting for an oil change, you got ferret cuddling duty! No extra charge...LOL. Good luck and prayers to all.
