Subject: Undescented ferrets, Clogged Anal Glands?

I have two undescented males about 4 1/2 years old. I've noticed their
little bums are a kinda puffy, not flush to the surface like my other
ferrets. They are not sore, itchy, red or smelly...but does this sound
like they may be clogged?
I do have a vet appointment next week, but where they seem to be having no
problem I didn't push for an earlier appointment where he's about 80 miles
away.
Anyone have anyone have any experience with this?
