I had a member pose a question that I can't answer and was hoping that it
would be answered here - can ferrets catch strep throat and/or whooping
cough? This year, Dane County in Wisconsin is reporting the highest
incidence of whopping cough ever. I would like to know if it's possible for=
ferrets to contract it or is it species specific? We are also seeing a lot
of strep throat and I would also like to know if it's contagious to ferrets=
