s...GNC is and was the only company to sell pure Liquid Melatonin ( plus so=
me perservatives of course)that I know of, and they discontinued it recentl=
y. I too gave my ferrets liquid melatonin for some time, so I began scourin=
g the internet for other sources of liquid melatonin, since GNC didn't carr=
y it anymore. I found other sources, but some were not PURE liquid melatoni=
n(again I add, there is perservatives in it). There were other additives in=
the liquid to help with other ailments and such (in humans). Based on that=
observation, I didn't want to expose my ferts to stuff I didn't know about=
, so I switched to the implants. Mush easier I might add! Seems to be worki=
ng great as well. So, could it be possible that the melatonin you switched =
to had these additives in it, and that is what caused the problem? Check ou=
t the ingredeients list on the bottle (which I know you sent back...but you=
can look online or at the store you bought it from). Was it only melatonin=
, or was there other things in there? I could be wrong, but it's a thought.=
I hope everything works out for you. I am most inclined to say that I think=
there was something wrong with the melatonin you purchased...as if you rea=
d all of the research done (as M. Janke posted last) you will find that whe=
n there was adverse side effects, there was nothing like what you reported =
findings in your kids. I know how hard this must be for you, and I am so so=
rry for your loss. I think you are doing the right thing buy doing your res=
