BlankAfter reading the posts on `Melatonin` & possible inert ingriedients, =
I read my bottle of "NATURE`S BOUNTY" Melatonin, bought at a cvs drug store=
. I usually read the labels on all medications, for humans & animals, but t=
his one slipped by. Though stating on the front label, "MELATONIN" 3mg.,(3 =
doses per pill for the ferts), reading the Ingredients on the other side wa=
s surprising! I know that maybe some of these `other` ingredients may be pr=
eservetives, & possibly harmless to ferrets. I said MAYBE, since I am not a=
Dr.....Maybe someone here can give some insight into these other ingredien=
ts? They are: "Dicalcium Phosphate", "Cellulose"(plant origin), "Vegetable =
Magnesium Stearate", "Vegetable Stearic Acid", "Silica", & "Croscarmellose"=
!! Even not knowing much about these ingredients, I am going to search for=
"pure" Melatonin, liquid or tabs! One of my ferts is adrenal & on melatoni=
n, so without knowing what those `other` additives are & their safety in fe=
rrets, I`m going to look quickly! Any suggestions?? thank you, john r. & th=
