Hi,

I am not sanguine about Yogis. We tried them when
they first came out in two different flavors. The
ferrets with sweet toothes loved them. They got Yogi
colored diarrhea. We threw them out. I don't think
I'd give my ferrets peanut butter either. For quite a
few years now we've stuck with meat based treats.

Having said that, I'd bet you could make a decent
looking faux birthday cake out of meat products.
Think of a meat loaf, but made out of chicken and
turkey instead of beef. Grind the meat fine so that
the result kind of looks like cake. Frost with a
variation of a thick Bob Church's chicken gravy with
something to make the coloring look more like
frosting. Add birthday candles. :)

Remove the candles before serving. Some ferrets have
been know to eat wax. Cut into small pieces and pray
your little weasels don't turn their noses up at the
"different" treat.

All the best,
Caity and the fabulous four
