Well, it looks like we may have our very own cluster here, too. It started with
Yozum, who was never definitively diagnosed, but the vet and I agree that the tumor
in his belly almost couldn't be anything but lymphoma. Then came Twizzler, who is
hanging in there on Pred and Essiac, but having good days and not-so-good days.
Now, this weekend, Kodi's lymph nodes became enlarged. They're not huge, but
bigger than normal. The vet wants to check them again next Monday, when
Twizzler goes in for recheck bloodwork and x-rays. If they're any larger, we'll
anesthetise him for a lymph node biopsy. If he has it, that makes three.
Since this leaves only Tanner (Twizzler doesn't want to play, and Kodi only barely
tolerates Tanner), I've been thinking about getting him a friend. It makes me feel
better that Tanner and any other additions probably won't be at any greater risk
than normal (we just added Tanner in June, so I think he's probably safe.)
Keeping our fingers crossed,
Becky
with Kodi, Twizzler, and Tanner (I'm BORED!!!!)
missing Cinnamon, Coke, Pixie, Chitterbox, and Yozum
