December 15th last year was the first day symptoms showed up in Thunderfoot and Jan 31st will be one year since he was helped across the bridge. Arwin never came down with anything. On Feb. 7 I got Stormy from a pet store, adopted 4 bonded ones in March and 4 more in August bringing me to 10 darlings. I still cry for Thunderfoot. An autopsy was done on him and all available. Leslie is so right about the emotional toll and the need to learn when it is time.

She was right. I am sure she'd be the first to say that is sad. In a month it will be a year and a half -- though it doesn't feel that long -- since Chiclet died of this new mystery disease. Like others we have not had anyone else in our family come down with this disease.
