"Beb" came to me as an aged blind balding DEW ferret some months ago. He
had already undergone 3 surgeries for blockages and had one adrenal gland
removed. The vet was reluctant to perform further surgery at this stage,
despite "Beb" being otherwise in good health. It was decided that he would
be a good candidate for the new implant, Suprelorin, which has not been
widely tested on ferrets.

On the 12th November, "Beb" had the implant inserted and now, 29 days later,
he has a decent covering of very short new fur.

A little aggressive with other ferrets since he first arrived, "Beb" is now
curling up to sleep with them. I don't know if this is because he is
getting to know them all at last, or if it is an effect of the Suprelorin.
I suspect the latter.
