Hi, Patrick, and everyone else,
All ferrets seem to have a sweet tooth. Before I knew
better we used to give out raisins and bits of fruit
(Ryo-Ohki loved apricots) as treats. We had concerns
that excess carbs/sugars could contribute to
insulinoma so we found meat-based treats that each
ferret liked and went with those instead. Thankfully,
every ferret, even the most picky, found something
they wanted.
