I've noticed a lot of posts recently about ferrets with diarrhea or bird seed poops.
My ferrets are Marshall's ferrets and my little girl had diarrhea the first 4 months I
had her. The vet couldn't find anything wrong with her. We tried changing foods,
and at one point even put her on an all babyfood diet. He called me up one day and
asked me to bring the ferrets in. He gave me deworming medicine to give to them.
It fixed the problem within a few days. Since then, he's had a bunch more ferrets
come in with diarrhea type symptoms, all requiring deworming. Apparently, it's not
common for ferrets to get worms but there is a rising number of wormy ferrets
coming frm pet stores.
