Odd this should come up. I get a lot of emails about health issues in ferrets and even phone calls. In all the years I cannot remember anyone asking about worms.
In the last month I have gotten four phone calls from people that have been finding worms in their ferrets' poop. From the description, every one of them sounded like tapeworm, but I wasn't there so I couldn't say for sure.
I just thought it was a real strange coincidence to get so many calls about tapeworms when I never got a single one before.
