Hi, Russ, you and the article are right. The sections pertaining to that number occur in my notes received from Dr. K. after he described the cases he'd encountered, and included, "From early data on the number of raisins necessary to cause renal failure in dogs, I calculated that 19 raisins given to a female ferret..."

Due to ferret's tendency to have very, very hard to find stashes and then one day eat the lot Steve and I chose to stop giving raisins and grapes when we learned that this risk had also been encountered in ferrets.
Some times if the site is a bit slow getting a message from the moderation site to the message site after approval and there is a lot of work to do on the site that day it's easier for a moderator who is hard pressed to attach something in brackets. I goofed twice today, though, by mis-remembering the number (nope, not a simple typo) and by failing to attach that it was a moderator's note in the brackets.
