Subject: confusion on pepto dosage

from the
http://www.ferretcentral.org/faq/med/ulcers.html, Dr.
Williams says, in reference to Pepto dosage as part of
an ulcer treatment "Pepto-Bismol (1/15th of a tablet
[or .5 to .75 cc of the liquid] once daily [or up to
every 6 hours -- from another article])" but in the
same faq, Dr. Dutton says "Pepto Bismol - 1 ml 4 times
daily". I have a little over a 1 pound ferret that I
think has an ulcer (my vet is not back until Monday)
and I'd like to start him on Pepto but I'm concerned
as to the dosage since they are widely diverent in the
FAQ. Please advise.
