Well, at that age ECE tends to be mild so it is among the possible causes. Remember that ECE is highely contagious and the kit has been there for a month so if it is ECE all the older ones had prior exposures without you knowing.

With kits in general who have only mild signs of possible intestinal problems we test for the the things that can be tested for, and then (except in a case where the store turned out to be coccidia infected in the members of Carnivora there) when the tests come back negative we wait till after week 12. Why? Because some kits get teething diarrhea just like some human infants do.
