That is precisely what our vet presecribed for Pertwee
who, at the time, was a roughly 3 lb. ferret. The
starting dosage does vary by body weight AFAIK.
For the record: Pertwee had seasonal allergies that
closely paralleled my own, so it was very much the
same situation. His congestion got him the nickname
"Snuffles" for a little while. Our vet also claimed
the Benadryl might help him sleep. That never
happened.
