Hello,
I just joined the group and am seeking advice regarding Lymphoma. My Ferret is 41/2 years old and she has developed two large lumps under her jaw. She is still eating, drinking and pooping fine - she is not losing her hair,is still very active and her gums are full of color - in all she seems in excellent health. I have noticed that the lumps are getting larger and have read Dr. Bruce Williams article on Lymphoma however the outlook seem grim. He has mentioned two forms of treatment chemotherapy or palliative therapy. Has anyone tryed these forms of treatments or any other and where they sucessful? Do you have any other suggestions which could extend my ferrets life expectancy. I live in a small community and the local vet has little experience with ferrets.
We would appreciate your advice - Thank you.
