Hi Jen,
I would not give up if I were you. Sometimes the right vet can make all the difference, I know this from experience. When my ferret became sick, my local vet( which did not know much about ferrets) diagnosed my ferret with lymphoma. She said it was 95% likely that he had it and she was going to treat him for it. I took my ferret to a different vet(someone who knew more about ferrets )and we found out that he definately did not have lymphoma. He did the correct diagnostics. All I am saying is find a knowledgable vet and run some diagnostic tests, it could be a treatable condition.

She also acts as if she's gone blind, use to be I'd put my hand down to her and she'd run right over. Now she does nothing. Even if i have my hand right next to her. She's not interested in eating or drinking, I've been trying to do both with a dropper. Should I take my vets advice (she doesn't know much about ferrets) or is there something else i can try at home before I send her home on the Rainbow Bridge?
