I completely agree with the other responses to this query. Please get your ferret to
a skilled ferret veterinarian as soon as possible. My ferret had very similar
symptoms and ended up succumbing to juvenile lymphoma. The constant itching
was very noticeable with his disease, as was a lack of energy and green-colored
urine (symptoms were clear only in the few weeks before death). Pale gums and
foot pads were also a sign with my Oscar and it turned out he was severely anemic
towards the end. If your ferret has something serious, the progression may be rapid
and you are the person who knows your ferret best. Please trust your gut and
encourage your veterinarian to take this seriously. If it is nothing, great! If it is
something, you don't need to suffer guilt as a result of having treatment delayed. I
