Hello,
I wrote a few days ago about Loci being lethargic and itching a lot. I have since took him into the vet where a cbc was done only to find that his red blood cell count was EXTREMELY low. My vet is sending it in for an adrenal check and sent us home with a steroid.
Loci is eating and drinking fine, he is just very pale and sleeps a lot. Will the steroids increase his RBC count? What is the purpose of the steroid? He hates it and it breaks my heart having to force it down him.
