If he is taking prednesone pills, they taste aweful. Anything you
disolve them in will taste bad, too. Get your vet to write you a
presciption for a bottle of PediaPred. It's prednesolone, a better drug
for ferrets but has the same effect as prednesone with out the bad
taste. As to it's purpose, I can't say. They use it for so many things
like allergies, inflamation and even cancer. I am not a vet.
