He survived the night. We took him to the vets right when they opened. The vet said all you all said, could be a tumor, could be his heart getting worse, could be his kidneys. He felt something enlarged but couldn't tell it it was his kidney or a tumor. I believe the other vet had said she could always feel his kidney pretty well. He has no spleen so his organs should be easy to feel. I can't imagine it's a tumor because he could pee Saturday morning and afternoon.

The vet drew off some fluid. He said he kept sucking soft tissue up in the syringe so he couldn't get a lot out. He is breathing a little better now, but still labored. He also said he could be dehydrated and in order for the lasix to work he must be fully hydrated. Also all the fluid was probably preventing him from being able to pee.

So I have been giving him pedialyte and force fed him some soup. He pooped and when he did a dribble of pee came out. So that should be a good sign because yesterday nothing was coming out at all.
