A company named Hill's makes a large group of special foods they call
"Science Diet". Aside from the bagged foods there are a lot of canned
foods for special purposes. A/D is an easily digestable high calorie
food that is good to feed to sick ferrets (and other carnivores). They
also make K/D for animals with kidney problems, Z/D, a hypoallergenic
for animals with food allergies and a number of others. You can purchase
them from your vet.
For info on Dyne and pet tinic, go to http://www.kvvet.com/ and enter
Dyne or pet tinic in the search bar. When the bottle picture shows up,
click on it to get a full page description with uses and contents. They
are both vitamin/mineral supplements.
