Cedar has oils which cause problems and should be avoided. Pine causes serious allergies in some but a greaty many do fine with the pine pellet litters. With the stove pellets make sure that it is one that does not have anything added to make it easier to light, and know that some people have allergy troubles with these because the way they are often stored means that mold isn't unusual.
