Lisa, I've used Pennington real oak pellets for about 7 years with very
good results. I have even been told that Feline Pine is safe because the
high heat they use to stick the sawdust together drives all the aromatic
substances out of the wood. Anyway, I can say from experience that those
pellets that are made from oak are safe.
