Yes, stuff like that can be deadly to your ferret if they swallow it and
get a blockage. I went to Home Depot and got a roll of window screen.
Get metal or plastic screen, don't get fiberglass. Flip the bed over and
staple the screen to the wood planks you find under there. Trim the
excess screen off with a box cutter or similar tool. Flip the bed back
over and your problem is solved.
