I've heard once from a vet in Brazil that you should not give vitamin C to a ferret without making an urine test because it can make it acid and cause bladder stones problems. Does it proceed?

My 7 year-old female ferret was also diagnosed with lymphosarcoma. As she does not present any symptom, we will bring her to another vet for a second opinion.
