I just wanted to let everyone know that we just came back from the vet today and everything checked out fine with the skinny baby. He weighed 1 pound 6 ounces, and he has gained weight in the last 3 weeks that I have had him. He was probably under a pound when I brought him home. But other than being underweight, the vet said he was fine. His spleen was a little enlarged, but not worrisome. I'm so relieved! The vet said it would take about 3 months for him to put on enough weight to look healthy again. Thanks for your support and well wishing.
