Here in Australia, ferret vaccinations are not available either. For over
10 years, our club has had group immunisation days administering Websters C3
(distemper, parvo,hepatitis ) at our local vet's. In all this time, with
the 1,000's of ferrets involved we have never had an adverse reaction nor a
case of distemper in an immunised ferret.
I'd say that using a dog vaccine is far better than not immunising at all.
