If it is indeed an ulcer or ulcers Boo-Boo has, then talk to your vet about Carafate. This is a medication that coats the ulcer, helps healing and prevents pain when eating. So he'd be more likely to eat. He should also be on a bland diet. No kibble, but Gerber's 2nd stage chicken baby food. I don't see the point in waking him every hour to feed him. That has to add to his stress, which is not what he needs more of. Giving pepto is usually very stressful and I don't believe the benefit, if any, outweighs the downside.

Carafate should be given 10-15 minutes before feeding and personally, I'd feed him every 4-6 hours and not wake him every hour to feed a little bit.
