THANK you so much, Mike. I did read his article, which is how I found the group
and realized that he was grinding his teeth. I was just confused because it
conflicted with what the vet told us to do. But, the more I read, the more people I
talk to..... well, I need to call the vet's office tomorrow.
Carafate is for coating the stomach and pain, but it's not an antibiotic, right? So the
Clavamox (sp?) is still necessary, right?
We'll nix the Pepto tonight.
What I was giving him was Uncle Jim's Duck Soup Mix (Marshall's) and mixing it with
the A/D food from the vet's office. We ran out of the duck soup mix and couldn't
find any anywhere near us at all, so I softened his kibble and put it in a blender with
the A/D food. So we should nix that, i guess, and go get him some of the Gerber
baby foods.
Looks like we need to go to the store tonight.
So if he weighs only a little less than 1.5 lbs and we're feeding him every 4-6 hours,
how much should we be giving him at a time?
