The only thing I've done so far is not give him Pepto as of yesterday. He usually fights, squeaks, and shakes his head so violently that most of it flies around the room. I end up with a pink spotted fuzzie afterwards that needs wiped clean. :o) Well, we also end up cleaning pepto off the cupboard doors, us, you name it.

As for the food, we couldn't find anything but beef baby food at two different stores last night so we're going back to look for veal/lamb this evening when Mike gets home (I don't have a car). We didn't even think about veal/lamb when looking last night.

Talk to your vet. Don't make any treatment changes without discussing it with him or her. If you don't feel your vet is going in the right direction, get a second opinion.
