Remember that polyunsaturated oils can be given to ferrets but not in huge amountsand that they increase the need for Vitamin E. I doubt anyone here would do that, anyway. Polyunsaturated oils given in too large amounts without enough added Vitamin E also given will cause Nutritional Steatitis (Yellow Fat Disease) in ferrets. It's more often seen in those fed high amounts of certain fatty marine fish.
