thank you! Boo-Boo's just on the clavamox right now. Do you think that's enough? We're calling about the calamate this evening, too, so hopefully that will be available to us.
I'm glad you said what you did about the water. Boo-Boo does seem like it hurts him to drink it by itself. He turns his head away, even when scruffed, and fights like heck, clamping his mouth shut tight.
If we could only find that chicken baby food. Two large grocery stores here locally didn't have chicken baby food, not second stage or pureed. The chicken food they had also contained vegetables and/or rice, so we didn't get any of that. But someone mentioned veal, so that's what we'll look for if we can't find the chicken tonight.
What's the difference between the Gerber 2nd stage chicken and the pureed? Or did I just answer my own question? Why do we want the 2nd stage chicken baby food instead of the other? I'm just curious.

Ella,
My ferret was treated for ulcers/helicobacter infection once, we tried pepto with him and he hated it. My vet prescribed Biaxin(Clarythromycin)along with omeprazole(prilosec), and carafate...it seemed to help with the discomfort. He learned to love Gerber chicken baby food..I fed him about every 4-5 hours, and mixed water with his baby food because he did not want to drink water..I think it hurt him. After he aquires a taste for the baby food, you can mix his amoxi in it, baby food does a good job of masking meds.
