Subject: Goku squinting, red penis, & Lou-Lou's tailhair

Hello everyone. I am in need of advice and help. Please bear with me, thi=
s may get long. I have created an album titled Goku and Lou-Lou Question P=
ics to help show what I'm telling about. =
Goku will be 3 next month, MF, and is very active. About a week ago, I not=
iced his left eye seemed teary, but thought it was because he had yawned 3 =
times. Tonight, he was playing as usual and it wasn't until we were in the=
kitchen when I noticed he started squinting. I held him up to see if ther=
e was a hair or something in his eye, but it seemed the closer I was to lig=
ht he squinted more, to the point where one eye was completely fine, and th=
e other basically closed. Another thing I noticed was that his penile area=
looked red and irritated. My questions for my boy are: What is happening=
? His eye is teary when he's in bright light (the kitchen), what can I do =
to help him? It looks like it hurts. When I put him up for bed, he was li=
ke he was in the kitchen, one open, one squinted closed and teary. Plea=
se tell me what to do. =
About Lou-Lou... She's one and a half, Canadian, and is always happy a=
nd laughing. She gets excited very easily, and gets a bottlebrush tail ea=
sily. I have never noticed her looking different, until about a weeke ago,=
I was cleaning the cage and she ran by me, and her tail caught my eye. I =
caught her at the water bowl and what I saw instantly brought tears. Her t=
ail looked horrible, like she was going bald. It looked redish, purplish, =
and sore, like she was beat up. There were black dots, hair coming back?? =
This is her second winter, and was always big fat and hairy, and now she l=
ooks thinner than Goku and Kira. It looks better than it did. I was hangi=
ng on to the desperate hope that it was a combination of her getting bottle=
brushed so easily and seasonal shedding, but I knew I was lying to myself. =
I turn to you, my extended family ferret friends for thoughts, advice, ex=
periences, and knowledge. Should I get Lou-Lou tested for adreneal? Pleas=
e feel free to email me or post here. Thank you all for being there. I do=
n't know what I'd do without you. =
