Get him to the vet right away and be sure to have his blood glucose levels checked, preferably in-house since this sounds like it could be a bad seizure.

Usually the situation - - if blood glucose is involved -- is insulinoma, but I recall someone here early on who had one who appeared like insulinoma but had diabetes.

The standard response when that happens is to give something with sugar in it to try to break the seizure but it sounds like these ended themselves if they were seizures which is unusual.

He really, really needs to get to the vet right away.

Why is he on Prednisone/Prenisolone? If he is already known to have insulinoma then he needs a re-check and readjustment of meds.
