I hope this comes under the banner of "health" as it is concerned with ferr=
et behaviour and physchological needs.

Does anyone have any suggestions about introducing a new kit? Little Flute=
is 12 weeks now and has been separate from our three adults (2 hobs, 1 jil=
l-all desexed), but we would dearly love for them to play together eventual=
ly. We have begun short supervised visits with one adult at a time, but th=
ey are not going well. The only other ferret we raised from a kit was one =
of our boys, and he was looked after immediately by a rescue jill we had at=
that time..she was so sweet natured and it went fine. This time around I =
am concerned with the extent of biting and dragging and squealing, and Flut=
e is running away and very scared. I know a certain degree of roughness is =
normal, but this is a bit OTT. Our black eyed white Jill is particularly je=
alous and mean, though we are trying to maintain the same degree of attenti=
on for all our ferrets. Perhaps it is too early, and we need to wait until =
Flute is bigger? I don't want her traumatised, but she is getting very spo=
ilt and I worry that she will only want to play with us and not the other g=
uys.
