This is always the most difficult decision we have to make for them. I have always said that in your heart, you'll know when it's time, but that doesn't make the decision any easier.
Does Bud have any quality of life? Is he in pain? Is there any hope for improvement? These are some of the things you have to consider.
I don't know if this will help you, but when I just lost Spaz, someone told me, "Euthanasia means taking their pain and making it yours." That really hit home for me.
