You might try some of the other baby food meats -
turkey, lamb, ham, or beef. I've had the least
success with beef and the most with turkey, chicken,
and lamb. I haven't tried ham but some others say
their ferrets like ham.

I also have one ferret who will only eat baby chicken
if it has a little bit of ground up food and a dab of
ferretvite in it. Otherwise, she's convinced it's
poison. This is a ferret who has no interest in
treats (ferret or human) except ferretone.

Some of our ferrets like canned fish and tuna water.
Stinky and probably not good for a regular diet but
might stimulate her appetite.
