Hi, Mary, and everyone else,

Our Pertwee had one kidney removed (polycystic disease), both adrenal glands
out, and also had chronic pancreatitis. For three and a half years we fed
him Bob Church's Chicken Gravy, which is something our vet really does
believe in. He came to love the stuff. It really isn't all that hard to
make if you use Pam Sessoms' pressure cooker method to make it. See:
http://www.trifl.org/gravy.html

Some ferrets don't like it at first sniff, but if you put a little dab on
Trixie's nose so she has to lick it off she probably will find that she
likes it after all. That seems to work for most ferts.

Bob Church's Chicken Gravy is easily digested, high quality, and high
protein. My nine year olds with insulinoma are still here and they really
enjoy it.

All the best,
Caity and the amazing eight
