About two years ago I rescued a six year old breeder ferret. She was a mess
and had zero litter box etiquette. It made me crazy that I had to break apart
the cage and clean it every day (and the professional litter box users were not
amused either). I came up with a handy solution. Go to:

I ordered plastic backed incontinence pads that can be removed and thrown
away. I think the box had 300 in it for under $40. It's worth every penny.
Spread them about the cage in all their favorite places (I anchored mine with a
litter box).
