The first thing I wonder is if he is itchy? Then I would make sure he is
checked for mites, fleas, etc. I know others have tried revolution on this
site (I personally have not used it so check the archives for dosing), for
most types of mites you can use it every 2 weeks instead of monthly, and it
you see improvement then do this for 4 doses. This takes care of heartworm
prevention, some intestinal parasites, and fleas too. Based on where you
live and the age I would go with some sort of mite or fleas. Ask the vet to
check it is not difficult and no different then testing a cat or a dog. If
they do not want to use revoulution, I usu give Ivomec injections every 2
weeks for 4 doses (but this won't treat fleas) Good Luck.
