I agree. I recently had a ferret on Flagyl and after the third day I called the vet
to say that I would not put my ferret through it any more and he would have to
prescribe something else. And after torturing her for three days I told him that
I would prefer injections, even if it meant bringing her in every day. I've taken
Flagyl myself and even I have a hard time with it. You would think that the
manufacturers of certain horribly tasting medicines would be more in tune with
their end users -- I mean come on, it's 2004 and we can't find a way to make
these things more palatable for animals and/or babies? It's absurd.

Ha! Flagyl is so hard to give that my vet wont prescribe it. He says
that giving it to them causes so much stress that it is
counter-productive.
